post n° 10. the end

Introduction.

Well, when started the years, we all think that this year were a normal year. We were all wrong. This bicentennial it’ll be one year that anyone would forgot. No one imagine that so many things could happen in just a year. But this was a bicentennial, it must be special and we were prepare, confront each situation like none country did. We all are standing up yet, but we learned; and it’s just of time that like a country stand up again and see a better a future.

After past New Year, all that I was thinking was in the happy holidays that I’ll have. But in February something change the future of many people; an earth wake. It was just unexpected; and the tsunami that comes after just destroy everything on his way. After this, comes the change of commands, a really rare day and full of small movements.

After those days, 33 miners were fighting for here lives 700 meter down. All the country saw and followed the big notice; all over the world worry about what it will be the end, if was a happy ending?  So many question; 60 days; the government worked a full time, to get alive 33 persons and show to his family sane and safe.

It doesn’t look a very nice year right? Well, we can end in a very happy way. December is the month that can help to balance a very bad year. Starts with a collect for a foundation calls Teleton, a way to make happy a lot of boys and girls that need therapy and don’t have the money to do it. Next is Christmas and New Year. I guessed that all need a new year. :D

Conclusion

Yes, this was such a bad year. So many people that lost everything.

This bicentennial was very special, one a unique way. But not everything is bad. We celebrate that we survive. As a nation we make stronger, as persons we make harder. Nothing can’t change that and no one can take away our feeling of happiness.

Expecting that next year change, make new memories with the people that we love. Thanks. :D

post n° 9

Well, today I’ll talk about my thesis.

Honestly, I never ask to myself what could be the topics of my thesis. I see it too far away for me.

But first of all, I will like to do it in the south of Chile, like Chiloe, Puerto Varas. The forest over there is beautiful and the weather is amazing.  I love the south of Chile!

 I’ll like to do my thesis about some specie in danger of extinct, why is happening, what as community can do to helps to preserve that specie.

Also spend all a summer in the national park Alerce Andino.  Learning about everything in there and maybe finds a new topic for my thesis.

I would like to do a thesis that helps other students. Make the staff better. See what we are doing wrong, with our environment, our piece of earth that belong us.

My thesis might be very interesting; trying to find all the point to do it of the best way possible.

I really can’t find what I can write about, because I’m not too informed and I want to think in that in a couple years more.

The Mapuche is an old community that lives in the south; specifically near of Temuco, in the ninth Region of Chile. There are very spiritually, their clothes are very wear to us, but for them everything means something. They religion is very special too. They love the earth, the trees and the nature.

 Well, the Mapuche conflict is an old fight between the state and that community, because there are some lands that at the first time were of the Mapuche’s community and then they sold out for money. Now they want it back for free.

Near of their land, many fights are every year. I think that each part has committed a lot of mistakes. First the Mapuche, because they want a solution right now; one of the biggest notice was when they used a little boy has a shield , when they was fighting with arms against the police.

Also when they burn big trucks next to the roads (my father travel a lot and past for Temuco, he has seen in it), hurting innocent people; people whose job is drive a truck, or just is passing over there, is really disappointing see that type of vandals.

On the other way, the police have used an extreme force against these people. With guns and taking in prison. Neither of each parts wants to find a solution if one of them keep pushing against the other.

The government seem like exceeded with so many problems. Starting with the change of command, the earth wake, the miners, the politics fights, it comes all together and everything important.   

A very strange bicentennial, that it could be end with a great joy like a foundation call’s Teleton.

The biggest date for sick people who needs helps and don’t have the money. So go to the bank 3 and 4 of December! :D

always green!

Well, these years, the environment is like one of the most important things that must be resolve in a few years, or maybe not resolved, but control it. Not always has been like now. Why is that? Because in the past, the people was more careful with the environment, but now, all are taking advantage of some resources that not always are going to be here.

What can we do to help the planet? So many things, for example; recycle. Every day tons of garbage go for a dump, unless that we separate in glass, paper, plastic, etc…

There are courses where you can learn about recycle, how to do it, you can make things really amazing!

Today, everything can be recycling: batteries, clothes. But I’m not talking about separate and give it to a industry of recycling, the clothes for example, when you are not using it any more, you can give it to another person. That’s a good way to recycle too.

Also I’m always reading about an organization that helps in different ways; forestry, animal, that’s Greenpeace. Is one of the most recognized organizations, known by its radicals actions.

For help to reduce our foot print, we need to stop to depend of things like cars (the contaminations of cars is a lot), electronics (the electricity that this stuff consume); also can have a big yard, a lot of trees, plants.

Our society is no aware of what are doing with the environment, they no discriminate, they think that this always is going to be the same. But the trees are disappearing, the animals are dieing, and it’s our fault. Because we changed the earth; with our actions…

Why can I do to help? Use the car less, buy stuff that are recycles, buy stuffs that the company is helping to the planet, use the electricity less in home; small things but if we all do the same, it will be a big step.

Because help the planet is a problem of all of us, not only of an organization, or the government, or the girl/boy next door, it has to star by me!

That was a very interesting paper, talk about how the ONU said that the oceans will be protected in a 12%, at the 2012, but now is only 1%, doing a commitment that possible can’t get.

Talks about how the change in the earth, not only affect to forests and air; the oceans are too contaminated; the most part of the earth is surrounded by water. The life in there is so amazing and beautiful, unique in any part of the planet, and we are losing it because or bad actions and uncontrolled use of the resources. The fishes are an important part of the economy in some countries; they have to do something to save the life in there.

Here can find a piece of how Haiti, one of the poorest countries in the world, has too much garbage, and how neighbor like Cuba have too less.

For all over the world you can find a piece of how are they doing the best they can to try to preserve the earth, but organizations, conferences, action’s plans; can’t do too much if the people who lives there don’t do nothing, they keep contaminating, thinking that other person will do his job, and that’s not true. All the persons must do something! So investigate, participate, be part of a big change in the peoples thoughts! And show them that we have culture, of what we do.

the 33

Hi!!!

I hope that everyone has a nice weekend, full of happiness and good staffs. One of the most important things that happened this year was the accident of 33 miners; 33 persons fewer than 700 meters, at the begging without food, water, staffs that are important to survive.  People that work hard every day to get some of money, without the conditions and security that they need. Who can work like that? Who can be less than 700 meters for over a month? I thing that none of us.  But the wait is getting over; the machines are working very fast, with the help of the government, who spend all the money necessary to get the help of specialists for all over the world. All the families are waiting for the big moment, all the country is waiting for the big moment, all the world…  

I hope that these problems don’t happen again; we can learn about our mistakes, it depend of all of us, doing better laws, stronger laws, with a government commended with the safety of the people who works in those places.  

Is all type of feelings, sadness, angry, hope; for one side thinking how could this happened; by the other, keeping the hope that everything is going to have a happy ending, and the people who is guilty, paid for her mistakes; the company has to make responsible for this people, because they don’t provide of the security that they need, all for guilt of money …  :(

Hola! Espero que cada uno tiene un buen fin de semana, lleno de felicidad y buen personal. Una de las cosas más importantes que ocurrieron este año fue el accidente de 33 mineros, 33 personas menos de 700 metros, en la mendicidad, sin alimentos, agua, personal que son importantes para sobrevivir Las personas que trabajan duro cada día para conseguir algo de dinero, sin las condiciones y la seguridad que necesitan. ¿Quién puede trabajar así? ¿Quién puede ser inferior a 700 metros durante más de un mes? Yo lo que ninguno de nosotros. Pero la espera es cada vez más, las máquinas están trabajando muy rápido con la ayuda del gobierno, que pasan todo el dinero necesario para obtener la ayuda de especialistas de todo el mundo. Todas las familias están esperando el gran momento, todo el país está esperando el gran momento, todo el mundo ... Espero que estos problemas no vuelvan a ocurrir, podemos aprender acerca de nuestros errores, que depende de todos nosotros, hacer mejores leyes, leyes más estrictas, con un gobierno elogió la seguridad de la gente que trabaja en esos lugares. Es todo tipo de sentimientos, tristeza, enojo, esperanza, para pensar un lado, ¿cómo sucedió esto, por la otra manteniendo la esperanza de que todo va a tener un final feliz, y la gente que es culpable, pagó por sus errores, la empresa tiene que hacer responsable de este pueblo, porque no proporcionan la seguridad que necesitan, todo ello para culpa del dinero ...: (Bueno Espero que todos nosotros tenemos una buena semana ... bye
